The speaker was supposedly modeled after the old Celestion speakers in Eddies cab. The cab is well built but $400 is a lot for that cab. Too much IMO. They have a pretty good midrange and top end is better than just about any guitar speaker Peavey makes other than the Sheffield 1230 in the Classic series cabs.
