WebLoose is the opposite of tight. Leftists that argue their vote doesn't matter don't actually mean that votes don't literally matter. They are just tired of always voting for the lesser of two evils. They are tired of voting for The Democratic candidate who is not going to change anything and maintain the status quo. WebHowever, if everyone didn't vote because there vote doesn't 'matter', then there would be no election (except that, paradoxically, in such a scenario single votes would matter very much). You might well say that people will vote regardless because they are deluded, but I don't think that is the correct way to look at it.
